This site is built to need as little of your information as possible. This policy explains what that means in practice.
What the calculator collects
Nothing. The transfer date and transfer type you enter are processed by JavaScript running inside your own browser. They are never transmitted to a server, never written to a database, never placed in a cookie or in local storage, and they are gone the moment you close or reload the page. We could not retrieve them if we wanted to.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used — for example how many people viewed a page, roughly which country the request came from, and which site referred it. Google Analytics processes your IP address and device information on our behalf, and it sets cookies in your browser to recognise return visits. None of it is linked to anything you typed into the calculator, because those values never leave your device. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site using Google’s browser add-on.
Cookies
This site sets two kinds of cookie and no others: those strictly necessary to serve the page, and Google Analytics cookies used to measure traffic. There are no advertising, re-targeting or social media cookies, and nothing set here is used to follow you around the web.
Hosting
The site is hosted and served by Framer. As with any web host, Framer processes standard request information such as your IP address and browser user agent in order to deliver the page and to protect the service against abuse.
Third parties and advertising
We do not sell, rent or share personal information, and there is no advertising network on this site. The one third party that receives data is Google, as our analytics provider, and only for the measurement described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the UK and EU GDPR and under California law — you have the right to access, correct or delete personal information held about you, and to object to its processing. Because the calculator holds nothing about you, in most cases there is simply nothing to retrieve. To exercise these rights, contact us.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
